I'd like to put my dial mic on it to see what the actual up and down movement is...however does gm actually have a spec to gauge good from bad for warranty? ie: .006 to 0.012?

No specs in the gm service manual for yoke movement.

Thnx for the reply. I think its time to trust in my so to speak calibrated eye and have them replace the yoke....tailshaft xfer bushing and the number one u-joint and then have the shaft sent out of house to be properly balanced to ensure a proper repair.
