What is it that I am hearing now that my cat is removed? It sounds like there is air machine inside there.

Our trucks turbos have the ability to adjust the vanes in order to control the boost they are making. This causes that noise you hear in your exhuast. I was surprised at the "whooshing" sound as well, but the guys in the muffler shop were thrilled with how it sounded. I'm getting used to it. I didn't realize the engine was pushing that much air.
