not many '82 model diesel anythings bring 7500 dollars, so don't make too much fun of it . The rabbit pickup was no power house but got pretty good mpg.Great in town delivery vehicle ,etc.

Boy $7,500 for an old VW w/114k miles (even though it looks to be in quite good shap) if this doesn't show the auto manf. that there is a demand for diesel vehicles...... nothing will.
BTW, my brother in law bought a new one back in 81...... man it was a new kinda slow with all of 50hp and not much torque..... but he always got 45-50mpg.

I could not even imagine driving that thing. I know that there were people that bought that thing, but man I would be scared to get on the Interstate.
