Help me out here guys, I'm torn I know I should get both but I only have the money for one or the other now.
Should I get boost/pyro gauges or should I get a nicktane setup for my truck first?

If I had it to do over again, I would have done the pyro/boost gauges first and the secondary filtration second. I really like having clean fuel, but don't be fooled that it will magically end a possible injector failure.

I'm the other way on this, I prefer to know that I'm doing the best possible for all components of my truck before adding toys. Secondary filtration isn't a cure all, but the cleaner the better.

personally if your truck is stock there is no real reason to need gauges. Once you do mods then they are recommended. Personally I would spend the money on the filtration because you will want that with or without modifications. Either way you need good clean fuel.

well it's not totally stock, I do run the Bullydog Power Pup but it sounds like the filter is more popular so far.

Guages. You already have a 2 micron filter . The problem is that the filter is of small capacity compared to the big Catapillar 2 micron filter supplied withn the Nicktane kit. Tough choice.

I was under the impression that the factory filter only works to 9microns or something like that which is why I thought the nicktane kit is supposed to be good for the motor.
I keep leaning toward the gauges because they're more of an instant gratification sort of thing, you get to watch them work. Since either one is really there to help the life of the engine I just can't decide which is more important.

I would say get the guages now. If you have the power pup you run a bigger risk from egt's that get too high especially since I don't see a 4" no cat exhaust in your signature. You should still get both.
