I have a creaking noise under my truck. The best way to make it do it is to put in gear, let go of the brakes, roll abount 1 inch, then hit the brakes hard. Just enough to make it rock. It creaks, loud. I have checked shocks, motor mounts, and tranny mounts. Any other Ideas?? I also greased up my front end when the noise started. Please help, I feel like I am driving a POS, with these sounds.

Cross member at torsion bar rear. Bushing on passinger side.
How can I check that?? It does sound like it is close to the torsion bar crossmember, but it almost sounds like the tranfer case. I will poke around some more tommorow. Thanks

Drive shaft packing gasket.(Cant remeber the exact name of the part) When you brake or take of hard you hear a clunk sound. It is the drive shaft moving. They say it is a common noise. If you do a search it will come up. Had mine replaced and no more noise.
