I was wondering what type of FSD/PMD cooler is everyone using ? On my last 6.5 I used the Black one W/green FSD lettering. I really don't know if one type is better than the other, but the blue on (I think by POLAR) looks like you could better to get more air flow over it. Any thoughts ?

Doesn't really matter - location, location, location is the name of the game.
Just place it up front, in any cool air-over location, out of engine bay.

Homemade heat sink. A few Shack heat sinks, heat paste, and voila, you've built yourself a little metal porcupine. If a porcupine doesn't suite your fancy, then call it a little metal Chia pet.
gmctd is dead on de money (as usual) heat sink, no matter what size or color will do you no good in a hot location. Keeper cool. The side of the pump is better any day of the week than a heat sink over the intake. (or at least in my little world)

I agree with GMCTD I don't think it matters as long as it's out of the heat area. I had the orginal Beta FSD cooler too and had it on the intake the modual lasted about 30,000 there and I need a new one and an extension. For only a few bucks more tha a PMD/FSD modula and extension I got the whole Heath PMD Issolator kit and mounted on top of the frame crossmember under the cab. I have had it about 25,000 miles and no problem so far and Bill Heath backs it for 7 YEARS so I think thats a heck of a deal. If you haven't ahd thecooler too long I would get an extension and remote mount it some where other wise you'll be buying a modual somewhere from 25,000 to 50,000 miles from the time of install.
