There is a local guy with a Sterling (rebadged Dodge) that is running a 8.2 with a mph in the mid 80's in the 8th. Arent' those truck pretty heavy? What all would he have done to be running that fast?

For a comparison, my buddies dodge ran an 8.2 in the eighth and a 12.48 quarter last thursday.. By the end of the night he got it down to 7.8.. His is lifted 8'' though.. He goes by Solostyle here on the forum..

That is smoking fast.. Thats the range I hope my truck gets into.

This guy also has a 03-04 Cobra that was pretty much unbeaten on the street. My truck with the 120 Predator tune in runs a 9.30 at 75 mph with a 2.0something 60 ft (2wd). It weighs 7400 with me in it. I wonder if I took the tailgate off, removed the spare, removed the back seat, and got everything out I didn't need, I could break into the 8's. With a set of sticky tires, I would be there right now. Only thing is that I am afraid the 120 tune will hurt my tranny over time. I guess I could sell a kidney and get a built tranny with EFIlive. :cool:
