The installation was super easy. Had it up and running with the tune in no time. Pulled the speed limiter, bumped it up on the 2nd tune level (90 hp). Everything is stock so thats as far as I'm goin for now. The improvement is pretty noticeable and seems like solid power. I'd estimate it's prolly dropped 3-4 tenths of a second off the 0-60mph time. The pull through third is pretty sweet now.
Once i get the pyro/boost guages in the next couples weeks and the 4in exhaust i'll step it up to three and take it to the drags to see what she runs.
Then start savin up for a 5speed rebuild/6speed update so try out some of the crazier tunes.

Thanks to WWTrash for an awesome deal on the tuner too!

Question, is that tune 90hp at tha crank or tha wheels??

Also when ppl say that stock trans can hold between 80-100hp extra is that flywheel or rear wheel????

I'm sure you could if you don't have a led foot and stay away from WOT during lockup and OD.
I've been running on level 4 for 2 weeks now. I can go WOT out of the hole but i back off quite a bit after shifting into 3rd.

Nevertheless, level 2 @ ~90hp gives a pretty substantial improvement. This thing is loads more fun to drive. Fords and Dodges that come up on me are not keeping up. And it gives a good little puff of smoke comin off idle up through first gear, so that's always kinda fun.

One question i do have:
If i was gonna check my balance rates on the injectors could i do that with this programmer effectively? Has anyone checked them, found them out of tolerance, and had luck getting dealer action with that information?

I've been running level three for the past few days. The tune feels very solid. I bumped it up to level five just for a bit of play time. Took it crusin around with a buddy lookin for some red light drags. Smoked a couple newer dodge diesels badly! This thing is RIDICULOUS! From a stand still it will smoke the tires through third. I was hammerin WOT at it from a roll at about 2.8k rpm in second and it would haze the tires through to the shift, and then light 'em up and do a bit of tail sliding coming through third!
The torque that comes in as the turbo spools has got to be one of the most bad a$$ experiences I've had driving a vehicle. I have an 02 z/28 w/ a six speed as well a '91 that is basically a twin to it. Out of all three, the most fun in a straight line is the level five tune on the truck.

I have no idea how much faster it is in any measurable fashion except the seat of my pants and spinning tires at this point. I'm plannin on doing some pulls at the strip running through the tunes. I'll let ya know how it goes :)
