I'll admit I'm scared of it but that may be healthy. My concern is that I've been cutting, welding and grinding a whole lot and usually have on a cotton shirt. In the cold I were Carharts or denim but they are cotton also. They don't seem to catch fire but I wonder. What do you guys do to keep fires at bay in your shop? I keep the garden hose on and nearby but winter is coming and I'll be back to just a fire extinguisher. Whats your thoughts on clothing and fire protection in your shop?

I used to use a welding jacket until I used it to protect a nearby area of a truck when plasma cutting. Burned the crap out of it..oops. I alway figured if I burn the garage down welding on my truck then I get a new truck and garage:HiHi::HiHi:.
