I have an Edge Juice on my 05 Duramax, and this past week it lost all power when i tried to take off and just poured black smoke out. it did this for about 7 or 8 seconds and then quit and regained its power and stoped pouring out smoke like it was doing. it did this twice, once on Saturday around luch and also last night.... Does anyone have any suggestions for why it is doing this? The engine was plenty warm, it had been running all day if that will help yall out to decide why it was doing this.

could be a turbo? or a boot? i dont know for sure just shooting in the dark.

before you say it was the edge(or any tuner), remove it for a week and see if it happens again without it. could be your truck. Every programmer, tuner, etc just amplifies any existing issues or makes them show up faster.

I had this same problem when I had my first Edge. Happened 3 times one weekend, then never happened again. Have no idea what the problem was.
