Is it possible to configure your high/low/fog beam lights to stay on when brights are selected withHIDS? Is it safe? I know you can with regular halogens I'm curious about doing my high beams.

I just did mine,One of my fogs is not firing up so I ordered another set.

All on mod-two diodes going to the high relay, still have control of fogs w/dash button with lights on low beam.

its blinding if you look directly into the light

35 watt 6000k color temp

Just last night I adjusted my lights and drove around town to see if I would get brighted with lights on low of course. No one flashed me so I thought that seems good, when I got home I clicked on the high beams and let them warm up a bit. I went in and got my 15 year old daughter to see what she thought, when she came out she said WOW that is bright,so you wonder if its worth it,I say indeed.

You just need a Relay Harness. Trying to Fire up 3 Sets of Ballasts at the same time is HARD on the OEM Wiring, Relay's, and Switches.

I think most people go with 6000k simply because it looks the best,(that's what I have) but you are right the 4500 range is a little brighter...

Yes, 4000-4300k is the Brightest, but as I tell my Customers, if you want Color, to only go as high as 6000k because, yea, you still lose Lumens VS 4300k, but it's less than 1000lm, and is still considerably Brighter than Halogen.

Anything higher than 6000k, and the Lumens fall off a cliff, and approach the Halogen Range of Lumens (usually over 10,0000-12,000k), until you get so high on the Kelvin scale, your couple Hundred Dollar HID's are now DIMMER than Halogen. Congrats. you just bought some REALLY expensive Halogen Bulbs. ;) :)

I went with 4300, pure white...I personally wouldnt go any higher than 6k's. Those do have a nice bluish color to them but they're not bad at all. Pure white for me...

I Went 6000K on My LMM. I Like the blueish color and it cuts through Fog like nobodies business... Next i am gonna do the HID Fog Lights...

Where can I find this relay harness? I thought about the firing up three sets of ballasts. It seems kinda harsh on your alternator/battery.

If I had to buy them all over again I would still get the 6000k,The color is perfect for my taste. I only see a hint of blue upon fire-up then It looks pure white too me.

received my set of hid's yesterday for the fogs, this set fired up fine. So I have hid's in the lows, high's and fog's with no relay's. I love it as long as I don't have a meltdown which I don't think I should with the 35 watt lights.
