Does this require any cutting once the flange is disconnected? Truck (08) is lifted so im assuming this will help with clearance over the rearend? Just want to know whats involved.

Shouldnt require any cutting, I cut the trumpet off of mine as I removed it pre lift for clearence issues in the area that you mention with a lift I would think that you would be fine...Josh

Just use a floor jack and a couple blocks of wood, and jack it up on the reciever. That will get the body up from the axle and give ytou clearance.
