Georgecls 12-08-2003, 02:38 PM The one aspect of the 'real' filter cutter such as the Tavia is that it performs a clean cut with minimal shavings. This enables a meaningful dissection of the element. As opposed to "did the metal come from the cut?" I too can highly recommend the Tavia. Beautifully constructed with replaceable components.
