Hi all,
Does anyone know if you have to remove the radio fuses? any why? or is this for the onstart thing.
thanks
Think its more for the OnStar thing, but not 100% sure. I dont have OnStar, and I dont pull fuses and it writes the ECM fine..

I'm guessing if the radio attempts to send data to the ECM while it's being programmed it could corrupt the program.

I dont have onstar so I don't pull the fuses, but make sure that the radio and A/C are off before you upload the tunes.

Speculation on my part, but I think Onstar queries your car every 10 minutes or so when the key is on. While your car unit responds back it will glitch the battery voltage and this upsets the programers. Not knowing when this occurs, pulling the Onstar fuse stops it. From what I read, the programers don't like the battery voltage bouncing around.
