okay so i wanna add remote start to my dirtymax but unsure of what modual i need. can i just use a pass lock bypass with out the locks if i dont hook up keyless entry?

I see no issue just setting up the remote start portion. Not need to wiring in the door locks if you dont want too. But if the truck has security passlock system you will still need that module for it to bypass the resistance value the iginition key switch has when turned. For me on my Avalanche I just wired the remote for remote start only and then off the door lock and unlock I connected a relay that turned on the heated seats. I carried both remote start and stock key fob. stock key fob for lock and unlock.
