trapman 03-18-2005, 07:35 PM Three of us are looking for a programmer.2 lly 1lb7 I was wondering about the hypertech? I would like the ability to read codes and adjust for tire size. How is the dependability? How is the performance, power, economy, and drivability? Is this a tuner I should be looking at or should we look at other tuners? Are there vendors at this site willing to deal for a sale of three? Any help would be useful. noreaster 03-18-2005, 09:54 PM if u want to be able to read codes, u need the predator. with the hypertech u can change tire size. ive had the hypertech for 45000 trouble free miles, the way to go if u dont want to do tranny mods. just put it on level 3 & leave it, ive never run the other programs, even when plowing. hypertech is great for me , no b.s. i dont have experience with the predator, so i cant knock it. Check out item # 7962717045 on ebay if you looking to save a few bucks. A big performance enthusiast may want more than the Hypertech, but most Duramax owners would be happy with the Hypertech.
