I am putting some extra subs into my 06 GMC 1500HD (yes I know I am not a diesel guy, I dont tow enought to justify the extra $1.10/gal). I have an under-seat downfire box and was planning on putting the amp behind the back seat. There are a couple of issues I have to work out. My amp is too big to fit below the plastic trim piece. I also dont want to put screws into the back of the cab.

The main thing I want to accomlish (besides better base) is a setup that is easy to remove, and that leaves very little evidence that it was there in case I ever sell the truck.

Anybody with pictures of amps installed behind the seats would help alot.

Try mounting it to the box, or next to the sub box on the floor, I used velcro so you can pull it at ease, and no holes in the truck.

It wont fit anywhere near the box. I am using a subthump.com box and it leaves no room spared under the seats.

What cab do you have, single cab, extended or crew?

I have a crew cab, but I figured out how to mount it up. Thanks anyway

I was thinking with a crew cab you'd have no problem finding a place to mount the amp, or 5.
