what one and why? the afe magunm force stage 2 is $400? is that correct?

TC harleycb 03-21-2005, 06:15 PM The claims for the new plastic tube with AFE is that the D'max picks up another few HP over the old metal tube. Also the turbo whine is not quite as prevalent with the plastic. I've been running the new design now for 3 months and have yet to throw any mass airflow codes. Been very happy with it, but still believe that the pricing is just to recover the costs of developing the Proguard 7 filter (supposed to be the best - but yet I haven't seen independant comparision of this filter vs. others). This website has been negative towards upgrading filter systems based upon older versions of the AFE - would love to see the new Proguard 7 filter tested and compared also....... The Trans Am soaks up most of my $$ as it is...I just want to find some mods that will increase my fuel economy. | ||
