I just sent off an email to Steve but thought someone here might know.

I just installed the Extreme and toggle switch. When I went to do the learn process via the instructions the truck started the first time! The instructions indicate steps 1-4 must be performed 3 times and truck should start on 4th try. I don't get any security indicator or anything. Yes, I installed the Extreme ECM and not my OEM ECM :)

How do the switch positions work? 80, 120 (middle), 200 ?

Middle is 80. I found on my 120 was down from the small notch and 200 is up towards the small notch in the threads.

I never went through a security learn process. I think that is one reason to have the vin.

Thats how they are on mine, You will know when you are in xtreme

Just back from short test drive ...had my 6 yr old son with me ...we're both still smiling. Can here it now when the wife gets home "Mom, you should have seen what Dad/I were doing in his truck! ..."

It was a short drive ... did a couple mame and kill launches down on a country road. I think a farmer jumped off his tractor when he saw all the smoke :) My 295's bite pretty good but had no problem torching them.

What's the best way to launch without killing my new Stage V :) Power braking can't be a good thing ...it has to be a killer on the torque converter? I know I need lift pump. Looking for some launch advice.

Glad you like the results, just remember it causes loss of rear tire life, broken parts, and ear to ear $hit eaten grins. :D Sooner or later you will find what the middle switch position is for but that may take a few weeks. :grd:

Well I know if I ever get a set of tires I don't like I now have a fast way to wear them out quickly. Raining now, funs over.

I rotated my switch so "kill" pos is forward ...that way i won't forget ...even though I have it memorized after driving it once :)

BTW, bio diesel throws a pretty good cloud too. Probably less then #2 though.

$2.50/gallon? That's cheap and almost worthwhile for me to drive from Oregon to Conn to fill up :) Right at $2.84 here (Oregon) right now. -:t Perhaps I will be using that middle position ... If an Extreme were available for VW TDI's I'd be driving my wifes car.
