Right now, my truck sits completely stock. I'm thinking about installing a 1" block in the back and adjusting the torsion bars in front for a 1" gain there, also. This would make it sit very comparable to a Ford F350 Super Duty. Would there be any complications from raising the back 1", or is this too small of a difference to matter for the angles of the u-joints and such?

I installed a 1" block out back on my truck without any problems. I think it is too small a change to affect the driveline or to need a canted block. You will need longer u-bolts though when you put a set in, at least I did anyways!

Just sold my 2001 C3 to my brother. Absolutely loved it. Still wonder sometimes why I sold it. Only put Granatlelli High Mass Airflow Sensor and K&N Gen II system on it. Got about 17-18 on the interstate at 75-80 mph. About 14-15 around town. It would just get up and go. Sounded good even with stock exhaust.

It's one of the best trucks I've owned. It's still one of Car & Driver's favorite vehicle of all time. The C3 was only built in 2001. It was pretty expensive for a 1/2 ton, but it came with only a few options to add-everything else was standard. List price was $39995. I get about 14.5mpg in the winter and 15.5mpg in the summer. So far, the AWD has worked flawless-you don't even know it's there. The 6.0L had 325hp in the C3 and 300hp in the 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks. I've run it at the racetrack and got a best of 15.37 in the 1/4 mile. Overall, very fine truck.
