What do you guys think I would do for milage pulling a 30ft. fifth wheel, @ 10k. I drive probably 60 to 65 mph and will have juice @ level 1 or 2. It will be all interstate driving. Any one down Illinois or Michigan running on #2 fuel yet? Thanks

I don't know why, but truck towing fifth wheels seem to get better mileage than the same truck towing a TT of similar size, which is what I have. I would expect you to get 12.5-13.5 mpg on flat ground in calm air at those speeds. I've gotten right at 12 mpg under similar conditions towing my 32' TT (ball to bumper) w/o Juice. I've noticed a bit better mileage w/Juice on level one in hilly terrain, but I haven't had a flat tow yet.

I pulling about the same as Tsckey, 32' TT at 10,000 pounds; I am generally running 68-72 mph and average right around 12 to 12.5 mpg. That's with Juice on Level 1 for towing with tow/haul engaged. I have got the LB7 which seems to be getting better milage than the LLY's. If I stay in the 63-68 mph range (seldom happens) I can get 13 mph. Those numbers are hand calculated, not using the DIC. With the Juice, the DIC is off about 20% on average.

MaxOd, did you ever get your injectors looked at?

Hi Max power, not yet, after the trip to Michigan I will have to get them looked after. Been too busy right now with kid stuff. To be totaly honest with you after you installed that retrax, I did a 800k trip and had incredible milage for this time of year. 600k before fill. That was up from 500km that I have been getting since October. After you installed the cover, on the way home I noticed a decrease in wind noise. That must add up to mpg in the long run?
