sometimes, if im driving for about 2 hours or so. the lithe comes on that has a truck and a lock over the passenger side if your looking at it from the drivers seat,, nothing happens,, truck does not run any different,, the locks work fine,, just wondering if you guys have any ideas on what it could be ..

i have no idea what you are trying to say. check your spelling and try to clarify what you are talking about. does it posibbly have something to do with a light on the dash that looks like a padlock?

haha yeah it was early sorry about that . and yes ! there is a yellow light that comes on occasionally after ive been driving around for about 2 hours or so . the truck does not seem to run any different, nothing seems to happen.. just a light comes on and has a truck with a padlock over it.

that happens to me, and it does interfere with door locks and alarm. I just pull over, turn truck off and restart. No more problems for a few months

That symbol is for your theft system. Sounds like while your driving the theft system is losing its 'Theft Enable Password'. If your engine is running while it happens then there is nothing that changes other than your theft system doesn't work. Should get it looked at soon. If it doesn't recieve the 'Theft Enable Password' when you go to start it then she wont start at all :D

could possibly explain why sometimes i go out and she doesnt start and i prime the fuel system, and wait 10-15 and she will fire up .. anyone think they could be linked ?
