What color fog?
Yes, the color of your foggin' oil is very important. white, blue, black. Each one is a different symptom for diesels

White = Coolant

Blue = Oil

Black = fuel
Is this correct? I think that is how it goes with diesels.

Blue at startup can also be unburnt fuel can't it?

White vapor in winter climes is normal - unignited fuel, advanced timing and water vapor.

Black is unburned fuel, reached combustion temps, but fire went out before all fuel was comsumed - usually insufficient O2, and\or late inj timing

It's not black, thats for sure. So that leaves blue or white wouldn't it be unburnt fuel if it was white? I cannot detect an antifreeze odor, does that rule out coolant? How does bluish white hit you. I have a lunched motor from a '95 could I just swap injectors? Right now it's parked, I can't very well sell it the way it is.

Does it run OK or is it sluggish? I really don't think, from what you are describing that it is time for engine swapping. Give us a little more information. White could also be air in the fuel system

does the truck get up to operating temperature? i have seen it where a thermostat was stuck open and the truck never warmed up, and this produced excessive white smoke. just a thought.
