Anybody have any suggestions for installing a gooseneck wiring plug in the bed with a plastic bedliner? I know the factory harness is wrapped up on the frame, but was curious to see how others have installed the plug with the plastic liner. Thanks

My new truck is Line-X, but on my last truck I put in the back lower part near the tailgate, down under where the stake pocket is. In this area the bed liner fit the closest to the bed and I was able to drill a hole in the liner and the bed and bolt it through both. My last truck was a 93 so yours may fit differently. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I will take a look and see if that will work on this 03.

That spot is where I have mine. You could also go in front of the wheel well behind the fuel filler, bet then your still trying to do it above the fuel tank = no fun.

Here is photo of mine in driver's side upper rear corner of the box. Someday I plan to remove the plastic liner and use a paint on liner.

This location is easy to access during hook-up.

Usually any RV parts place has them. I ordered my last one from etrailers and received it in just a few days. The wiring harness for the in-bed connector may or may not be there, depending on if the truck was built with the option or not.

My truck does not have the $35 5th Wheel/Camper wiring option, but i do have the wiring harness tucked up under the bed on the drivers side. I just need to get the plug in and figure out how to wire it correctly. (im not too good with electrical). I'll check out etrailer, Thanks.
