Have edge products cured the teething problems that they were experiencing with the Juice LLY Motor? I'm talking about the turbo bark, nostart, and drivability issues. I just talked to an edge tech and he said that they were going to release a new box, called the EZ. It has a 25, 40, and 65 HP setting and is supossed to be set up so that EGT,s will not get too high. This lower power option with economy and Low EGT emphasis is right up my ally but only if they were able to get things right.
thanks

Some people have had trouble especially in cold weather. Edge supposedly has come out with a new version that is supposed to address some of the issues. I personally have had no issues with mine. Where I live could be a large reason I haven't had any issues. IMO Edge Rocks.
Unfortunately its hit and miss, some people have all the issues and others dont, same with anything else on the market, like cell phone reception, cars/brands, etc. Might want to give another chip a try, like Predator or VA

Edge released Juice version 1.2 around March 8, 2005 for the LLY model. I haven't seen any posts on it yet .... still to soon.
Hopefully some of the folks who were reporting problems will mail their unit in for the free upgrade, then report on the results.

Over the next coupleof weeks I should get some good eval time. We've got a snow storm coming in today, and while I SHOULD park my LLY on the dyno, I'm also expecting a call to pick up a piece of equipment any day now, and the 2005 has fresh tires while the 2002 has some pretty darn smooth skins...

Well, the call came, but my better sense said park theLLY on the dyno before snow flies and take the 02. So the 05 is inside, high and dry!
