I had ordered a power pup off of e-bay but had actually received the bully dog rapid power which is a module. The rapid power goes only up to 70 horsepower where as the power pup I understand goes up to like 150. What does the programmer do different to the motor. I am now running the rapid power and like it and I don't have the timing rattle as many do with the power pup. Just wondering if I should give up my module for a programmer because the guy off ebay wants to know what I am doing. Thanks. My motor is a 2004.5 lly chevy.

From my info, it's a pressure box. This kind of device "fools" the rail pressure and boost sensors to make more power, and are essentially resistors. PPE has something similiar. That's why it doesn't rattle.

It will stack with a tuner pretty well. But you will hurt your trans if you crank it up.
