I run just the grill cover myself the bumper cover wont fit with my plow without modification. I just took it off yesterday for the summer temps supposed to be heading up. It does definetly seem to help with warm up and also seems to help MPG a little .5-1.0

I ran the grille cover as well cause I didn't feel like taking the license plate bracket off to slide the grille on first lol. I don't think the bumper one makes much difference. Took it off late last week as the Temps are supposed to get a lil nicer now.

I bought one of those stainless steel grill covers from max power. It works well for plowing snow, the truck dosnt get too hot at all. I leave the bottom off(its 2 part since i have a chevy, one for the top of the grill and one for the bottom) so my trany gets air. The snow plow made some funky wind stuff and I could never keep the winter cover on with the plow on. I have also never ran the bumper cover. The SS cover also looks really slick

I pretty much always keep the grill cover on in the winter. When the temp gets above 40 I try to take it off unless it's going to drop right back down. Even then, I watch the temp pretty close, and it has never reached 210 even with the cover on at about 45.
I tried the bumper cover and thought it looked :cool2: , but it was a major dirt catcher. One guy on here even complained that his bumper started to rust because of it. I just leave it off now.

I put grille cover on when temps stop going in the mid 30°'s during the day. Then I pretty much leave it on. There was one weekend I had to take it off about a month ago. I saw daytime temps climb to around 46° here. Even then (when it was on at that temp), truck temps stayed below 200°. Never use the bumper cover.
As for functionality, I feel it definitly helps the truck get to\and hold operating temps on cold mornings.

I use both the bumper and grille covers. With a black truck, dark tinted windows and most everything else blacked out, it looks damn stealthy.

Dave420 where are you located? I haven't used mine all winter, but it hasn't been very cold.

I'm in Iowa. I've had in on most of the winter. Torched my tranny fluid awhile back. Got to thinking that maybe the w/c was keeping the tranny from cooling correctly, but it never got above 175 or so, but who knows!
