Well got my ATS 4000 and modded CP3 installed<---- GM diagnosed bad cp3 because it "wasn't pumping enough pressure". So after they told me they weren't gonna cover it under warranty because the cause was "contaminated fuel"..... I decided to upgrade turbo and CP3. After gettting all back together the truck has the same exact problem.... Will not start.... cranks and cranks..... with a (small) shot of starting fluid fires right up and idles missing on a cylinder or two then when shut off will not start back up without starting fluid. Seems like plugged injectors to me now.... Any thoughts?? Good fuel is going to brand new cp3 and injector electrical pulse is nice and strong. So I guess I spent around $4500 in mods uneccessarily but my feelings arent hurt just want the thing to run! :)

DO NOT USE STARTING FLUID! You could really damage the engine.
If you use the primer button and pump it, will it start up then. Do you get any codes?

A lil bit of starting fluid never hurt nobody... LOL I know its bad but it was last resort.... just a teeny spray... anyway when the primer is pumped... nothing.... no codes until I fire it with starting fluid then it throws a low rail pressure code..... Im pretty much stuck on injectors until someone comes up with a real good secondary cause :) We will see.

The fuel filter mount has been known to crack... at which point you can prime it and it'll start, but it may not keep running.

Do you have efi live or a way to watch the rail pressure and regulator current ?

I have access to a Tech 2 which will give me that info and Im ordering EFI live tomarrow... But I dont have any solid numbers as far as fuel rail pressure right now. Per Gm dealer..... rail pressure was slightly lower than the lowest acceptable measurement (whatever that was) So im thinkin im losin the pressure through the injector(s).
