Anyone know what the codes are??? I recieved my Hypertech today and it found these 6 DTC's

P0401
P0404
P1223
P1226
P1241
P1244

Hypertech says I should know what they are before clearing them.

THanks
Steve

I found them on the web, now what do they mean and should I be taken it to the stealer to have them look into it?

P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected
P0404 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Range/Performance
P1223 Pedal Demand Sensor B Circuit High Input
P1226 Control Sleeve Sensor Malfunction
P1241 Sensor Power Supply Low Input
P1244 Alternator Load Input Failed High

BTW here is a website that lists all the DTC codes, I am not sure if these apply to all vehicals or not but take a look.

DTC P0401 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Flow Insufficient
DTC P0404 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Open Position Performance
DTC P1223 - Injector Output Circuit
DTC P1226 - Injector Output Circuit
DTC P1241 - Injector Output Circuit
DTC P1244 - Injector Output Circuit

It's probably a good idea to not clear them, not install the hypertek tune and go to a dealer. If it did it with the tuner, I would clear them and see if it does it again. If it does do it again, clear them, remove the tune and see if it happens again. If it doesn't happen again, it's a hypertek problem. If it does happen again, It's GM's Problem.

Thanks Max, The first two regarding EGR were same but the other 4 point to the injector circuits. Looks like a trip to the stealer is in order for tommorrow -:t Just what I need more injector problems.....

THis was the first attempt with the Hypertech, I have not done anything with it yet other than plug it in and start the process. WHen I recieved the codes I viewed and then exited out.

Could these codes be caused by my Juice??

THanks for you input...

are you flashing the truck with the Juice connected? can you do that?

you might try remove the Juice, then flash with hypertech..then reinstall edge. I heard there was an issue with flashing the ECU while edge was connected

I never actually got to the point where I could flash due to the codes. I am not going to put the Hypertech program onto my truck, I just want the speedo and odometer to show correct values. I will however disconnect the Juice when I get that far.

Thanks
Steve

actually when you change speedo/tire size with it you will be loading the hypertech program onto your truck...just won't have performance tuning. The hypertech copies your stock program and saves it, then asks you questions and then writes the modified program to the trucks computer. just make sure the edge is disconnected when you try it so there is no chance of bugs.

good luck

I have a juice in... It randomly pops the 1200 series codes you are talking about. If I take it out it goes away.... someday I have to call edge about this. Maybe the new version juice will correct this.
