Hey all,
Really enjoy this forum. Been shopping for a new truck, but need the old one running for a few months...
My work truck has 96000 on it, and I do work it out. I run an 8 foot fischer, have a 3300 foot driveway, and we get a lot of snow (the local resort gets 360 inches a year...). I am on my third tranny, second front diff, and now the engine is acting up. Runs rough, coughs at bit even at highway speed, and I can hear a tick-tick through the exhaust. Think I almost just poisoned myself driving it out to my property - exhaust in the cab.
Think I'm screwed.
Guessing that the exhaust is shot, and may need new fuel filters and plugs, but willing to consider other more enlightened opinions! Thanks for any thoughts!
(Maybe a permission slip to go buy a new dm?!)
