Does any one have a solid side topper and can you post your pictures.

I am nosing around for a topper for my truck and really like the solid side topper. What I am concerned about is not being able to see out the side and such.

Can you really see out the windows of a topper anyways?

I have never had a toper before so I am looking for all the info I can get.

Please post your pictures please.

I have a beater Ford Ranger with a solid shell and I hated it- very hard to back up and turn. I got rid of the shell and like it much better. My 04.5 Chevy long bed has a big shell with windows. I use the windows when backing and sometimes when changing lanes. I will never have one with solid sides again. :)

Mine seems ok with the big mirrors. No worse than that camper in your pic.74657

I have had a truck w/ solid side shell. I didn't have any problems with it. Just use your mirrors. I usually have service trucks that have large bodies on them so, I guess I am used to it.

I have a softtopper that has solid sides and don't even notice it. But I pretty much only use the side mirrors for backing and lane changing.

I once had a Roll-n-lock. As far as topper I think it is one of the better ones. Plan to pay $1200 or so depending if you're a short or long wb. You do have to sacrifice about 10" of your bed at the Cab. Now if you have a tool box this wont work.
