does it really matter? should i get the dual pleat because it is 5 more dollars and must be better? :duh:

My vote - get the new one unless you are running a secondary filter.

I second thne motion, getn the new one. Also recommend you consider a Nicktane setup as a pre filter.Good insurance.

I'd always get the best filter available. Cheap insurance.

I keep a new oem filter and a new cat filter for my Nicktane in the toolbox inthe bed, along with the tools to change, just in case. I expect to use that oem next change and then buy a new style to put in reserve.

By the time that filter is due to install, I hope the truck is paid for and I can also install a lift pump, as I'm a bit leery of any more flow resistance on a suction type system.:rolleyes:
