Ron at Suncoast has built me a new Alli support that is hidden from eyesight. It is stronger and will make your trucks look pretty because you won;t see it. It will be available within 3 weeks or less. Ground clearance is at frame level.

What do you think that it will cost?

Mike, is there an issue with the stock Allison C-member bending under load, like during drag racing? --or is this primarily for the off-road crowd?

I think the stock one makes our trucks look bad for one thing. I have seen many bent ones come through my shop so yes it will be better for the off roaders. Now that Casper is a low rider he desperately needs one of these so he gets the first.:D

2 questions,
1. will it perform the same function as the stock piece?
2. will it interfere with aftermarket fuel tanks?

Mike, maybe im not getting it but other than off-roading what would be the main purpose in upgrading the C member?

Cosmetics. Stock one looks like shit. Makes it hard too crawl underneath the truck because it is so low.
Once you see how it cleans up the looks you will like it.

I like the idea for someone with a show truck or someone that is offroading other than that the stock piece is fine...

You don't have one of these trucks. You've no idea what's fine.
