Has anyone ever tested both of these products? I was told by a supporting vendor that the Super Chips was a better tuner. Their both in the same $ range however there is not alot of discussion about the Super Chips. The Super Chips Makes more power and has some features that the Predator doesn't. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I personally have not tested the SuperChips.
Does it make more power? Dyno or 1/4mi MPH is the way to find out.
I'm not a big fan of the Predator product line, but I got to say the LLY product is very good. You will more than likely be very happy with it.
It took my truck from from 16.90 ET to 14.42 ET on back to back runs at California Speedway. And it's diagnostic capabilities are unmatched in it's price range that I'm aware of. True HP increase is ~110-120rwhp.
I am not currently running the Predator anymore as I am testing other products right now. But I'm not selling it. It's worth it just for the Diagnostics.
After doing some research I'm going with the Predator for the extra power and being able to do some diagnostics with it. You can also recalibrate the speedo for different tire sizes. IMO it's a good product for the money you spend.

As Mcrat said, the predator is a great value..Good power add on and diagnostics are good too..
I havn't read anyone dynoing the superchips tuner yet, or perhaps I missed it?

The Superchips tuner for the LLY can also recalibrate your speedo and check codes. On the new version of their tuner, they advertise maximum HP gains of 125HP.

Unless you plan on rebuilding the tranny you can't use the High HP tunes.

I took the guys advise at truckracingparts.com and bought the Super Chips Max Micro Tuner. I bought it at Barnett Performance in Atlanta (because they were local, had it in staock and for a good price) yesterday for 379.00 and installed it in the parking lot on the 80hp/130ft.lb. setting.
I drove it easy at first to make sure everything felt ok. After everything seemed to be fine I hammered it, unreal power for only 80hp. I have driven the truck over 200 miles since installing the tune with not even a hick-up.
I'm going up grade the tranny next and run the 125hp/200ft.lb. all the time.
You know just a good daily driver.
