I didn't notice any change in EGT's when I did mine. It did seem to slightly improve mileage .5 MPG better after

I as well did not see a reduction in EGT. If you are looking to get a few more psi of boost, I suggest a PPE Boost controller. I just but one in my LBZ and it works great ! Turbo spool up is way faster and I can easily get 30 plus psi of boost and it is not even turned up all the way.

Ading a blocker plate for the egr is likely the best and cheapest investment you could do for your motor:

Eliminate extra Soot into the intake and cylinders
Increase Oxygen intake due to reduced exhaust intake
(should see some mileage improvement)

No issues forever with your egr valve or intake getting gummed up with what looks like creosote..the same $hit that forms in a chimney that doesn't get hot enough to fully burn all the fuel. This egr will do the exact same thing. I did mine at 37K and have not had one issue to date with that part...check sig for mileage.

Other things on your wish list might include: Secondary Fuel Filtration and Secondary or Bypass Oil filtration and using a B2 or BioDiesel additive for lubricity.... Only of course if you plan on keeping your rig for a long time.

just my opinion of course...

cheers,

stk
