Hello all, I have been enjoying reading through this forum since I purchased my 2005 CC Duramax. Although there is a lot of information in this forum I have some questions on the combination of upgrades. I use my truck mostly without towing but I have been looking every day for a 5th wheel camper. Here are my planned things to do after reading through the forum:

EGR blocker plate / Finger stick

MBRP dual exhaust – turbo back (remove cat)

Predator programmer – 40hp

I don’t know what order I should do these things or the pro/cons, is there better upgrades for my situation? I live in Louisiana and have about 6k miles on the truck. Any technical information on why or why not to do any of these things to my truck would be appreciated. Opinions are welcome but I am looking for more than “that’s not worth it” answers please have some data on why. Thanks all.

I live in Louisiana too

I did all those, except I run the predator at 65hp since I do not really tow anything at all with my truck, other than a boat every once in a while. The EGR blocker plate with stop all that sooty crap from going back into the intake. The finger stick will stop hidden codes from showing because the EGR is blocked. The catless pipe will lower exhaust gas temps, turbo will spool quicker, and the turbo whistles a bit more also.
