I'm taking my truck on a road trip to Richmond, VA from IL (2,000 miles round trip. I've only had the Edge installed for a couple of weeks.

Which setting should I have the Edge on to achieve the best fuel mileage? I plan on Driving 65-70 MPH. I won't be towing anything. Just the wife, my son, Sister-in-law and her son.

I usually leave mine on "1" which is the mileage setting. It seems to work the best for me. I have tried the other settings but one seems to get the best mileage especially at 65-70. I'm rollin on 37's though, never tested it with my 265's

Number one setting is best for mileage. Then in the edge menu under configutations set it on one as well. That's what I do when I want the best mileage. Have a safe trip.

personally I used level 1 and 2 for a very long time and got below to average mileage..I used level 3 and got better mileage the first tank. It leans it out more basically. with a built tranny I run level 4 and 5 on a daily basis. On a stock tranny dont' go over level 3, but I think you might get better mileage using it.

keep the low boost fueling all the way down, disable the power through shifting part as well- just wastes fuel, it will shift a little bit harder, but no slippage.

No matter which level you use keeping your rpm's at or under 2k is key I found.

Thanks to everyone that replied! I have read about keeping the RPMs at or below 2K to help with mileage.

On a side note, I just can't believe the difference with the Edge installed. It's amazing!!!!!

Ran my Edge on level one for mileage but when I removed it mileage went up 2 MPG.I'am putting it back on because I miss the added power and the guages.

I just got back from a weekend trip with my truck. I drove it 160 miles (one way) and I got 15.5 MPG at 68-70 MPH. I had my Edge set on 1.

lots of mileage info in the sticky at the top of the page if anyone wonders what everyone uses for best mileage..that's what it's there for.

Now, the numbers that I posted are from the DIC. does that mean that the DIC is incorrect because of the Edge w/***? Should I be hand calculating?
