Trying to narrow down an exhaust system this week. I really like the look of the duals and was wondering if the truck becomes too annoying with the drivers side exhaust exit.. Also who makes the nicest dual system? Seems like quite a few members like MBRP's stuff. Also which SS is perferable with these systems? 308 vs. 409?

Truck is a Northeast vehicle so it see's winter..

If you see salt on the roads during winter and alot of mushy/ugly wet conditions, you might opt for the 308 as it is a higher grade. If you live in dry weather and have no real issue with salted/sanded roads, then you should be fine with a 409. The price difference is pretty significant, so factor in budget and weather..

I have the MBRP t304 cool duals. They look really good. No problem with the drivers side sound at all. Being from the NE I would go with the 304 SS. Like CID said the price is substantial....but it also depends on how long you plan on keeping your truck.

Detonate,

The 304 is a more expensive system but here's why. The 409 is a magnetic stainless, very similiar tp the stock system materials, operationally it's great, pretty after a winter up North it ain't! The 304 is a non magnetic stainless that contains a lot of chromium and nickel, hence the price difference! It will look great forever, but cocts more, the scrap rate is high, the cost of the tube is high, it wears the tooling fast etc etc all things that are added into the price!

We have all the different MBRP systems in aluminized, 409 and 304 so let us know if we can help with questions etc.
