Two questions for ya. Does any know what note the 2500HD horns are? The dealer says there is an "A" note and a "C". The reason is because I want to change them. My mother-in-law's 2001 Cadillac Seville has a great sound to them and want to put them on. Second question is why am I blowing the fuse? The right side got some water in it and I took it and got most of it out. Still sounded like crap. Is it shorting out due to some water still in there? Thanks ahead of time. :ro)

I'm not sure of the note either, but the factory horns are FIAMM AM80s. How do I know this? Because I bought a set of them, hoping they would be louder & sound better, & after taking out the factory horns to install the new ones, I discovered THEY WERE THE SAME Censored HORNS AS THE OEMs!

I am not sure where you can get one, I don’t have one myself, but if you want a horn that people are going to pay attention to a train horn would definitely grab my attention. Maybe one that simulated a machine gun firing would work too :muahaha: If you want a train horn this post may help.

Look on ebay for a train horn. I bought mine about a year or so ago for $300. Or go to a truck stop that sells truck accs. and they also have them for truckers.
