I know this isn't a direct 6.5L question, but has anyone attempted to add factory keyless entry to a 95 6.5 suburban or tahoe? I've got a 1995, and I'm not sure it if had keyless entry from factory, it's got all the other options (no leather, thank goodness). But, I am confident that it didn't get that option, but I didn't buy it new.

Is there a "black box" somewhere that I need to locate, or find the empty plug for?

The obvious reason I ask this question is that I absolutly HATE aftermarket keyless and alarm systems, and won't ever have one installed, same goes for the receiver deck.

Look in your glove box for the list of RPO codes. For the factory keyless remote entry you need the code: AUO
