well sent my oil in to blackstones for the second time..great news everything is below spec and looking good:cool2: ...at 9500 miles had some wear and silicon levels that were high, now at 31000 everything has mellowed out and best of all no fuel in the oil...:ro)
i didn't realize how much i have driven since june, over 22000 miles and this is only on the weekends as i drive my tool truck all week...whew i need to stay home more..:joke:
i hope the next 31000 are as good...:rockit:

Just find a lab, blackstone, avlube, titan lab, etc, give them a call and they will take a CC over the phone. They'll send you a collection kit which you mail back with your sample. You'll get the results a few days later.

What exactly does this tell you? Overall condition of motor? I am new to the diesel game and just purchased an 02 Duramax with 75K on the clock.
