Well, I finally put on my first accessory. Husky mud flaps, front & rear. They should help keep road dirt off the lower half.

I've also got another question on the Timbren SES installation. Seems to me if you pre-install the rubber aeons to the frame bracket, it will not be necessary to jack up the truck to finish the installation. I've looked at the frame brackets, and I can't see how the presence of the rubber aeons would prevent the installation. What do you think?

I just finished installing the Timbrens SES. Without a doubt, preinstalling the aeons to the brackets make all the difference in the world. They only clear the axles by about 1/2 inch, but I believe they will be fine. I'll follow up with any differences in the ride.

They are a "suspension enhancement system." Go to: www.timbren.com (http://www.timbren.com) for details.

If you are going to haul a fifth wheel, they will greatly improve the ride and reduce any sag from occurring in the rear.

I found them at www.truckspring.com (http://www.truckspring.com) for only $143.95.

I researched the Timbrens before I bought them. They are way cheaper than air bag suspension systems and I could only find good comments about them at a couple of RV forums.
