This is the first for this truck. Today the truck lost power and you could only give it a little throttle. If you gave it to much throttle BLACK smoke from the exhaust and a loud dieseling. Also noticed a squeeking/squeel when throttled.
Did this for about 10 or 15 min. then cleared out like nothing happened.

What could this be? No engine light, trany temp fine, and oil and eng temp were normal.
I run stanadyne @ each tank full and the truck is all stock. Would a clogged fuel filter do this or am I looking @ bigger problems @ only 21,000 miles.
I was prepared to have it towed to the dealer but when it cleared out, now what?

at first this sounded like the common intercooler pipe coming off the turbo..it will lose power and lots of smoke.. BUT.. then it fixed itself? strange... I'd take it in anyways or at least see if you can pull some codes from it.
