I have purchased a bullydog powerpup, when i use the tow setting I notice the increase , but then I recently put it on the performance setting and it feels exactly the same? Just curious if I am missing something.

i got the same programmer for my 2007 duramax, and i like the tow setting better than the performance, the trans shifts alot better i find on tow vs performance, and i dont notice any diff for power, extreme is alot of of extra power though.

Seat of the pants difference is very minimal, you would have to put it on a dyno to really see it.

yea there isnt alot of diff between tow and perf.i left mine on crazy larry the whole time i had mine.i wasnt happy with the way it shifted either

Mine was the same way, I sent it to bully dog and had them go through it. When i got it back i could tell a big differance, but now it keeps thrown my trans in limp mode

will the performance tune throw your stock tranny into limp mode? Or should it just be baby'd on the 4 to 5 shift?

run it on extreme all the time, I do, just dont beat it, and youll be fine.

I run mine in performance all the time.. i have NOT limped my tranny...
