All, I have searched around for a thread that would have dealt with this issue and found none...so my issue is... Following a car lastnight, it starts to slow down around 35 or 30 to turn, I hammer the throttle down to go past them...quickly....and get this 1-2 second delay before I even start to feel the acceleration. :help:
I pressed the pedal and started to lean forward expecting the usual warp speed push back and was left hanging for a few seconds  before the downshift and power occured. Thoughts??? I am bone stock still with just over 8,000 miles. Very unhappy with the delay in my acceleration. My 02 was far more responsive, even stock.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Scott

I had the exact thing happen to me the other day with my '03. Once it did kick in I took off like a rocket but that super long 2 seconds worried me a little as well. It has not done it since and my fule filter was changed about 300 miles ago, so I have no idea what caused it. If someone knows this is the place to find it....later

Watch your tack. When you back off the peddle, you'll notice that the rpm's drop to (6-700)?. When you punched the peddle the engine took off before the TC could catch up. Someone said that the dealer was able to stop this from happening, don't remember who. Mine does it also. I've left rubber on the road it has hit so hard a couple of times.
