Alright, as soon the dealer finds a "right" truck-plow prep is hard to find around here, I'll be the proud new owner of an 05 extended cab LT. :ro) I found one but at a different dealer, my dealer could not get them to let it go!!! -:t

Here is my questions.

I have a wester's computer in my 6.0. I plan on having wester's do a small tune-40 hp or so. What is the recommended time before adding tuner, plug and play, or computer mods??

I have 285's on my current truck, with the learning of the ally, should I wait to add them or is it ok to put them on in the beginning??

Any other thoughts, comments, or advise would be great.

Put the tune and tires on from the beginning just don't hammer it hard till its broken in a bit.
The rear end in these trucks need a 500 to 1000 miles before you tow heavy and make sure you change the differential lube after break in.
My truck likes the 285's and I've had no tranny issues towing or unloaded.

NWDmax-

Thanks for the reply. I did know about the rear end, same thing with the gassers just less oil for the refill!!!

My last truck was a 98 Chevy 1/2 ton and I can honestly say I'll never own another gas rig again.I love my truck that much and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it!
