While plowing a small parking lot or moving the plow when the hydro fluid is really cold, -15 degrees (increasing electrical draw) My serpentine belt squeals. Voltage gage is also reading low after plowing small lots with lots of plow movement.

I have the plow prep package which adds a 150 amp alternator, three batteries and the isolator.

Could my low charge condition be that the belt is slipping more often than I hear it? Anyone else have belt squeal problems?

Anyone make 200amp plus replacement alternators?

This is all on my 2005 GMC c5500 4x4 152" wheelbase plow rig.

I could be mistaken but dont the diesels have the option for dual alternators?

Couldn't get dual alternators from the factory with plow prep on the 5500. They are only available on the 5500 with the wrecker package and I really really need/want my warranty to be intact with all the plowing the truck does.

But looking at gmdieseltech.com I could upgrade for about $500-600??
