Bought my truck in Conroe but not happy with the service. Looking for a recommendation for a GOOD dealer or possible independent in Houston.

Thanks. Brian.

Hello bpicard,

I'm in Montgomery. I have used Mundy several times for routine stuff- Nothing major. They claim they have a certified Duramax mechanic and they did find a fuel leak on my truck. Someone else referred me to Leonard Marshall. I would be interested in finding a good dealer in the area also. --Ken

Ernie Guzman off I-10. Great guy there. He also used to post here, but he hasn't visited in several months.

Several other members here can vouch for him as well.

Any of you guys have any advice/opinions on Norman Frede's diesel service? I bought the truck there. No problems so far, just want an advance opinion.

The guys at Lone Star Chevy on hwy 290 treated me well. The best thing is that they do all diesel service in the back thru their commercial side. Less people to wade thru to get/exchange info. The young, but experienced techs will actually talk to you. Tom Ryan is the Mgr./Writer back there.

Bought my used 02 at Parkway, Tomball. Haven't had any "major" work done to it yet " knock on wood" got 70k on it now.

There is, from what Im' told, a good independent out here off 1488.

I would go to Guzman, Scott is awesome. He can fix anything... A master mechanic..

As for Norman Frede, I would not even take an old clunker there. They are rude, only want to fix what they want to and have no time to talk to anyone about issues. I would never recommend them for anything.. I would take the drive out to Guzman on I-10... That would be your best bet...As for Scott, he is the Master Mechanic...
