My 05 Sierra has a few lights out, havent inspected to see what needs to or can be replaced, but... I figured i'd ask you guys!
On the steering wheel, the volume control up/down doesnt illuminate, is that a replaceable bulb or do you have to order a new switch?
Also, the dual climate, driver side / passenger side temp control isnt illuminating on the passenger side only. Id imagine that is a replacable bulb, but im sure someone can tell me what im needing to know.
Bulb #'s? Easy to install?
thanks

Search "7219" as that is the soldered-in bulb's part number. I use the that same bulb in the heater panel, radio backlight, steering wheel controls, and the instrument cluster.

I had to do a '98 radio twice. In '03 @ 100k and again in '08 @210k miles, but only one was out....Experience has taught me to change all 10 radio lamps while in there. Having done the '03-'07 heater panels, the slider lever knob ends come off, but they are very tight, and you risk breaking the slider, which will require replacement of the panel. Also, i had to melt/ drill holes in the rear of the assy to gain access to the solder side off the bulbs. Nobody will ever see the holes.
BTW, the heater panel on a '98 requires 6V lamps, which I have not acquired yet. The 7219 fits everywhere else, although the do look different than some of the OE bulbs.
thanks got to change 2 before cold weather sets in
