Hello,
Should I just go to the dealer and ask to have my truck reflashed?
Will it do harm? My truck runs fine right now but I wonder if all the trucks software should be flashed up to date before I add the banks kit and dump the cat? I have a finger stick ordered too.
Should I have my larger tires installed before flashing also.
Can they adjust my speedo for the new tire size?

I work at a MB dealer and we flash cars all the time! Some are not fun at all and most are no big deal for the tech to do.

Thanks for the help....Den.

on Edit...I see you have an 05..you may already have the latest code, but just check anyways before you install all your stuff.

I would have it flashed before you do all the work on it..after that you can't really go to the dealer without removing a bunch of it. Keep your stock tires on as well until you get the dealer stuff done.

2 of the main things they notice and look out for are stock tire size and the catalytic converter.

can't adjust for tire size with the factory program, however hypertech or predator can do it with theirs.

Shouldn't do any harm, it actually balances out all the injector rates that might get out of whack when you remove the kitty and stuff.

good luck
